This is an unprecedented time. Normally, each year we open our studios to celebrate the work of our first year students and share their achievements with the public. Despite the closure of the campus due to COVID 19, the work and creativity continued, and so now, in an even more profound sense, we celebrate both the creativity and the resilience of the students through this online exhibition.
In the NCAD first year experience our students begin with a common exploratory semester and progress to working in their chosen specialist departments.
These images are from this final specialist module, made in the time of COVID. We are delighted to share this work with you and hope you enjoy exploring it, the show is a small example from each of the pathways available to our students.
